Well our day started out great...We were up early and in a happy mood! I swaddled both of them up tight (I usually only swaddle Olivia) and they both gave me a 3 hour nap!!! I even had time to bake a chocolate sheet cake! I was stunned at how much they slept... I kept looking at the clock to make sure I wasn't mistaking the time.
Too bad they didn't sleep long enough to allow me to clean up this mess! (Where are Harry Potter and his wand when you need them???)
Now here is where the day gets yucky. =o( In the waiting room at the Dr.'s...

If there is ever a picture that depicts my children, here it is! Ella being serious and focused and Olivia with a silly face not paying attention!
Shortly after that picture, we got our shots....NOT HAPPY! =o(
Mommy cried right along with the girls!! This is now that we are home. We don't even want to breathe too loud around them so that we don't wake them. (Excuse Olivia's missing sock for that very reason!) They are not too fussy but they just look up at you and cry when they are awake and it breaks my heart!
Dr. visit notes:
Ella:
1.) You weigh 10 lbs. 3 ounces and measure 21 1/2 inches.
2. You have what appears to be reflux and were prescribed Zantac to see if it helps.
3. You have a very light case of cradle cap and dry skin, nothing too bad.
Olivia:
1. You weigh 8 lbs. 6 ounces and measure 21 inches.
2. You have a SEVERE case of cradle cap and Eczema. (You were prescribed Hydrocortisone Cream for all over and T/Gel Shampoo for your head.) If it doesn't get better in a week, we are going to have to switch your formula AGAIN to see if you are even more sensitive to the Cow Protein in the formula than we think. Hopefully NOT!
Overall, I have 2 gorgeous, perfectly healthy babies and this mommy could not be happier!
